Drawing in Space

This series started at the Good Ship Illustration Friday night drawing club (seek it out each Friday on Instagram Live at 8pm GMT)

Negative Space drawing is not my thing, usually - drawing AROUND an object, all the twiddly bits and spaces in between? Urgh no, too much detail, too slow, aargh. But I stuck with it and found something pleasing and interesting.

I’m not sure where this series will go, but sometimes you need to allow yourself time and space to experiment.
